Don “ The Snake ” Prudhomme isn ’ t one to sign off on tribute cars , but when the opportunity to partner with his former driver , Ron Capps , at the prestigious NHRA U . S . Nationals came up , Prudhomme jumped at it . From the unveiling on Friday to Capps ’ incredible win on Monday , it was an unforgettable weekend for Capps , the fans , and Prudhomme himself .
