Virginia ’ s Matt Hagan proved once again he ’ s one of the toughest drivers in NHRA Funny Car competition . Under the guidance of longtime tuner Dickie Venables , Hagan secured his fourth world championship and the first for Tony Stewart ’ s nitro operation .
