Past Liberty ’ s Gears Extreme Pro Stock presented by AED Competition world champion Chris Powers took over the points lead from two-time world champ Johnny Pluchino when he rolled through the gates , as Pluchino sat out Bristol . Franklin , who set low E . T . of all but one round , has now been to four of six finals . Melnick in Alan O ’ Brien ’ s Barry Allen-powered Greenbrier Excavating & Paving ’ 20 Camaro qualified No . 1 for the first time this season .
