the induction. Jones knows Kepner better than most, having had Kepner work for him for many years. Jones listed 10 things about Kepner and they are as follows. Bret wrote 2,100 stories for 57 publications, and was an editor for nine of those publications. Bret visited every dragstrip that could be found during his travels. Bret taught drag racing, hosting seminars on how to cut a light and taught bracket racing at the old St. Louis track for years.
He loved to get a rental car and take it to the track. Bret told me he never raced at the events he announced, considering it a conflict
